The day begins by traveling to Cresson where a visit is planned at the Pate Museum of Transportation, known as a 1500-volume transportation library with exhibits of railroad cars, vintage and classic automobiles, military aircraft and other displays. A visit to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center which features some of the world’s most endangered animals, like white rhino, cheetah and zebra along with over 60 species that roam the countryside. A brown bag lunch at the Dinosaur Valley State Park will round out the day. Dinosaur Valley State Park located on the Paluxy River contains the best-preserved dinosaur tracks in Texas.
